Skye mobile is a service that allows you to carry out basic and critical banking transactions using a mobile device such as a mobile phone or 3G enabled portable device.

It simply allows you to move your banking transactions to your mobile phone by providing the following services enabled by your portable device;

  1. Inquiry services
    • Check Balances
    • Review mini statement
  2. Funds Transfer Services
    • Interbank transfers – To a limit of N100,000.00
    • Intrabank transfers
  3. Bill payment Services – To a limit of N30,000.00
    • Cable subscription
    • Electricity Bills
    • State Taxes and Levies
  4. Mobile phones recharge vending- To a limit of N3,000.00

Installation Guide

  1. Click on Skyemobile link and down load application.
  2. Connect to Application via Bluetooth to your mobile device.

    If your phone is a BLACKBERRY, then you would need to use the BLACKBERRY USB cable to transfer the application into the BLACKBERRY

    • When you connect the black berry via the usb cable the phone will prompt “do you want to turn on mass storage” then click on yes to precede
    • Go to my computer and search for the blackberry drive (media card), open the drive (media card and copy skyemobile application to the drive. Then close the drive and safely eject the drive.
    • Open the phone using the blackberry menu key and open media, from media press the blackberry menu key to select explore.
    • In explore menu you will see media card and device memory, open media card to access the skyemobile application and start installation by selecting the skyemoblie application with the navigation and pressing ok.
  3. From the customer’s mobile phone, look out for a SMS message or pop up of Skye mobile received message (this depends on the phone type).
  4. Then install application and follow the step by step direction on the phone :
    • Select network (click on the ETISALAT option and select your network)
    • Enter mobile phone number
    • Confirm mobile phone number
    • Confirm
    • Launch Skye mobile application
    • Scroll down to wallet
    • Add card
    • Enter card name
    • Enter card PAN
    • Choose account type either default (saving or current)
    • Default card Yes
    • Card expiry month
    • Card expiry year  (e.g. 2012)
    • Add
    • Confirmation
    • Ok
  5. After the above process is completed, you would receive a SMS after which you may click on install or RUN depending on the phone type
  6. For you to carry out transactions on their mobile phones, you must have a verve card with cvv2 (the last 3 digits at the back of the your verve card) this acts as a second level security feature.
