Mr. Akinsola Akinfemiwa- Managing Director/CEO

Mr. Akinsola Akinfemiwa obtained his B.Sc. Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Ife. He was the Managing Director/CEO of Prudent Bank Plc.

He is a seasoned banker with over twenty-eight years of banking experience. His areas of expertise include Strategic Planning and Management, Corporate Banking, Project Financing, Leadership and Interpersonal Relationship and Advisory Services. Mr Akinfemiwa has attended several senior management development training programmes both locally and abroad. He also attended Senior Executive Internship program at the American Express Bank N.Y.

Mr. Akinfemiwa is capitalizing on the amiable blend of skilled and experienced professionals the merger has conferred with a view to creating wealth for the stakeholders. He is an alumnus of the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD).

Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti, Deputy Managing Director

Mr. Durosinmi- Etti holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State. He is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom. He started his banking career with Nigerian – American Merchant Bank Limited (Affiliate Bank of Boston) where he was Head of Accounts/Computer and later, Internal Control.

Mr. Durosinmi – Etti left for Midas Merchant Bank where he served as, Head of Treasury and Assistant General Manager in charge of Money Market Division, before becoming Executive Director, and later Chief Executive Officer in 1994. He joined Lagos Building Investment Co. Limited in 2001 as Managing Director, from where he joined the services of EIB International Bank Plc in April 2002, and was appointed its MD/CEO in July, 2002.

Mr. Segun Oloketuyi, Executive Director

Mr. Oloketuyi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a postgraduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds an MBA degree from the Lagos Business School. He joined Prudent Bank Plc as a pioneer member of staff in January 2000 as the General Manager, and rose to the position of Executive Director in July, 2004. With a stint from Akintola Williams & Co., (now Akintola Williams Deloitte) Chartered Accountants, and Chartered Bank Plc, his career broadly spans Audit/Accounting and Banking.

Mr. Gbenga Ademulegun, Executive Director, Business Development

Able to boast of knowledge of both accounting and banking practices, Mr Gbenga Ademulegun worked for Coopers & Lybrand (Chartered Accountants) before joining the services of Savannah Bank of Nigeria Plc. He later entered the employ of Gulf Bank of Nigeria Plc before becoming Executive Director in EIB International Bank.

Mr Ademulegun holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a master’s degree in Economics (Money & Finance) from the University of Jos. . He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and he holds a Treasury Dealership Certificate (TDC).

Mr. Dotun Adeniyi, General Manager

Mr. Adeniyi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science which he obtained in 1983. He also obtained an MBA from the University of Ilorin in 1992.

He worked previously with United Bank for Africa, NAL Merchant Bank and Chartered Bank where he spent seven years. He left Chartered Bank as Senior Manager, joining Prudent Bank Plc as an Assistant General Manager in charge of Branch & Central Operation Division. His key responsibilities include Retail Banking, Revenue Collections, Electronic Banking & Customer Service

He has attended various courses including Strategic Management in Banking organised by the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD), France.

Amaka Onwughalu – General Manager, Treasury

Mrs. Onwughalu has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Buckingham in 1983 and an MBA degree in Marketing from University of Port Harcourt in 2000.

Her work experience spans various functions in the Financial and non Financial institutions. She joined Legacy Reliance Bank in 2000 as Head, Treasury & Financial Institutions and later Acting Managing Director of Reliance Bank prior to the merger to form Skye Bank Plc in 2006.

Prior to her employment at Reliance Bank, She had worked at African Express Bank Plc (Formerly Orient Bank) from 1987 – 2000 where she rose to the position of the AGM/Head, Lagos Central Office. Her area of expertise spans Assets and Liability management, Treasury Management and Advisory services. She has attended various function–specific and general management courses including the Lagos Business School seminar on Company Direction and Strategic Management in Banking course organized by INSEAD Business School Fontainebleau, France.

Mrs. Onwughalu is an alumnus of the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) and a member of various Professional bodies and Associations. She is a Senior Fellow in the Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria and Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Bankole Ladele – General Manager, Development Finance

Mr. Bankole Ladele has an Intermediate Diploma from the Institute of Bankers London and a Master of Science degree in Finance and Banking.

Prior to joining Cooperative Bank PLC in 2000 as an Assistant General Manager, he has worked with United Commercial Bank LTD, MMG Securities LTD etc in various capacities.

He has attended various training programs which include Foreign Exchange Course organized by Bankers Trust Co, London and Advanced Credit Analysis and problem Loans organized by Euromoney Training, London.

Mr. Ladele is an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.

Mrs. Ibiye Ekong, General Manager

Mrs. Ekong has a Bachelors degree in Finance & Banking from the University of Lagos and an MBA degree from the Pan-African University Lagos.

She started her Professional Banking career at Chartered Bank in 1989 as Assistant Treasurer where she rose to be Branch Manager in 1997. She joined the former Prudent Bank PLC as a Senior Manager in 2000, where she became a Deputy General Manager and Group Head, Treasury & Corporate Banking Group.

Her key responsibilities include Business Development and General Advisory Services. She has attended various training programs including Strategic Management in Banking and Advanced Management program organised by INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France. Mrs. Ekong is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Mr. Segun Akintemi GM, IT & Operations

Mr. Segun Akintemi is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management.

Segun Akintemi commenced his banking career in Union Bank Plc as an Analyst and joined Gulf Bank of Nigeria Plc as the Deputy Head of Information Technology Department.

In 1993, he was appointed the Head of Information Technology and set up the bank's Technology Department from which the product "SUPRANET" was developed.

He has attended several courses both locally and in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Niyi Adeseun GM, Public Sector Group (Abuja)
Niyi Adeseun is an Economics Graduate of the University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University). He holds an MBA degree from the University of Lagos.

Niyi's banking career that spans over 12 years is dated back to 1989 when he had a brief stint with First Bank of Nigeria before joining Nigeria International Bank (now Citibank Nigeria) in 1990.

Before joining Prudent bank in September 2001, he worked with Standard Trust Bank where he set up the Collection Products desk (Franchise department) at the bank's head office in Lagos before moving to Abuja in January 2000 to run Public sector business.

He was also at different times, Group Head of 2 business offices of the bank in Abuja.
He has attended various management-training programs both locally and in the United Kingdom at Manchester business School.

Sadiq Isa Abubakar,Assistant General Manager – Skye Bank PLC

Mr. Sadiq Abubakar is a 1987 graduate of Political Science from Bayero University, Kano. He also has an MBA from the same University.

He started his professional Banking Career in 1993 at Crystal Bank of Africa Ltd as a Senior Banking Officer. He worked other financial Institutions like Standard Trust Bank Ltd, Intercity Bank Plc and NUB International Bank Ltd before joining Legacy Prudent Bank in 2003 as Area Manager prior to her merger with four other Banks to form Skye Bank Plc.

He is currently the Regional Head, North West Region. His key responsibilities include administering and supervising the affairs of the Branches in the North West Region and General advisory services.

He has attended several general management courses including the Senior Management Programme/Advanced Business Simulation organized by Phillips Consulting in Johannesburg, South Africa.
